- 1 bagChamomile tea (or 2 tsp loose leaf)
- 8 ozHot water (not boiling — 200°F)
- 1 tspRaw honey
- 1 sliceFresh lemon (optional)

Heat water
Heat water to 200°F — just before boiling. Boiling water can make chamomile bitter and destroy delicate compounds.

Steep
Add chamomile tea bag or loose leaf to your mug. Pour hot water over it and steep for 5 minutes covered with a small plate to trap the steam.

Sweeten
Remove the tea bag. Add honey and stir gently. Add lemon if using. Sip slowly 30 minutes before bed.
